Encrypted DNS

Your ISP stops seeing every site you visit

Routes DNS lookups through Harbor's encrypted DoH resolver instead of your ISP's default, unencrypted, logged DNS.

Telemetry cleanup

Fewer background check-ins to Microsoft

Clears known Windows telemetry endpoints so less of what your PC does gets phoned home automatically.

Pay once, own it

$5, one time. No account, no login, no recurring charge, and nothing about you stored to make it work.

Three steps, about a minute.

01

Get your Client ID

Sent by email right after purchase, and shown again on the checkout confirmation page. Save it somewhere safe — the setup tool asks for it every time you run it.

02

Run the Windows setup tool

Double-click HarborShield.bat. A small window opens — enter your Client ID, click Verify, then Enable Harbor DoH.

If Windows blocks it with "Windows protected your PC" (SmartScreen), click More infoRun anyway. That's normal for a new small publisher and isn't a sign anything is wrong.

Prefer to run it yourself from PowerShell instead?

powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\HarborShield.ps1
03

macOS and Linux — coming soon

Windows only for now. You won't be charged again when Mac and Linux ship — we'll email the download to the address you paid with.

Lost your Client ID? Email support@harborprivacy.app with the address you paid with.

Ready in about a minute.

Questions about Harbor Shield.

What does Harbor Shield actually change on my computer?

It points your DNS at Harbor's encrypted, no-log resolver and clears known Windows telemetry endpoints. Nothing else on the system is touched.

Are you spying on me or selling my browsing history?

No. Harbor Shield runs on Harbor's no-log DNS resolver — we don't keep a record of the sites you visit, and there's nothing to sell. Full details in our Privacy Policy. Staying out of your data is the entire reputation this company is built on.

Do I need an account?

No. Harbor Shield is a one-time $5 purchase with no login and no dashboard.

What is my Client ID and where do I find it?

It's emailed to you right after purchase and also shown on the checkout confirmation page. The setup tool asks for it every time you run it.

Windows says "Windows protected your PC" when I run the installer. Is that safe?

Yes. SmartScreen flags new small publishers by default. Click "More info" then "Run anyway."

Is this a subscription?

No. It's a $5 one-time purchase. No recurring charge, no card stored, no account created.

Does it work on macOS or Linux?

Not yet, Windows only for now. macOS and Linux support is coming soon and you will not be charged again — the download will be emailed to the address you paid with.

I lost my Client ID.

Email support@harborprivacy.app with the address you paid with and it will be resent.

Is my activity logged?

No. Harbor Shield runs through Harbor's no-log DNS resolver, the same no-log stance used across all Harbor Privacy products.

Is there a discount right now?

Yes — use code SHIELDLAUNCH at checkout for 50% off during launch week.
