Will Alexa still work if it does not save recordings?
Yes. Alexa processes commands in real time; saving the recording afterward is optional.
Does opting out remove ads on Amazon?
No, but they will no longer be targeted using your activity profile.
What about Ring and Echo cameras?
Those have their own privacy settings in the app. Review recording, sharing, and any law-enforcement request settings separately.
